I would like to to thank the Physics Department of the University of Zurich, the \cern collaboration and especially the \lhcb collaboration for providing such an impressive infrastructure of computing power, accelerators and detectors. 

I would like to express my gratitude to Prof. Nicola Serra from the University of Zurich for letting me do my bachelor thesis in his research group and who managed to give me a very positive impression on the world of data analysis.
